Lindsay and Nick had their wedding yesterday at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth and we got some truly phenomenal photos. The weather was PERFECT and the venue looked amazing, as well as both Nick and Lindsay who were dressed to the nines. Her wedding gown was a beautiful mermaid style with delicate lace work that fit her perfectly and Nick had a super suave off-burgandy three piece suit with incredible shoes and accessories to match.
Nick showed up in his Mazda Miata that fit the color palette of the wedding itself with spirits high. He had some things to get settled so I started with some details shots of the rings and the wedding dress, and some getting ready photos of the bride as she got her hair and makeup done.
When Nick was ready we got some photos of him and his groomsmen and then some groom's portraits as Lindsay finished up her makeup and got ready to get into her dress. We got a few shots of her with her bridesmaids in their robes and then it was time for her to get into the dress.
After a quick first look with her father it was time for the ceremony, which was being held out back in this lovely little grove between the trees. Lindsay looked stunning as she walked down the aisle and after a short and sweet ceremony and ring exchange they kissed and made their way back down the aisle. I got a great shot of each member of the bridal party during the recessional, and then it was time to get some family photos and bridal party photos, they were a great crowd and we had so much fun and got so many great shots.
We did a quick couple's session before heading back into the reception where they kept the energy up for the entirety of the night. Lindsay had a sweet moment with her father during the father/daughter dance and Nick's dad lit up the room with laughter during his speech.
Nick and Lindsay partied hard the entire night and I tried to catch that energy in the photos I took by dragging the shutter and making it so the DJ's lights really showed up in the background. I'm very happy with the results and I absolutely love what we were able to capture.
